If you don’t feel able to join Kirkby Lonsdale First Responders as a volunteer, you could help us continue our work by making a donation. We are all volunteers and our time is given freely, so there are no staffing costs. But, although we are trained by NWAS, we are not funded by them! The kit we carry has to be funded by the local scheme; an AED alone can cost in the region of £1,000 and has only a limited life span. We currently have five AEDs in service, some of which are coming up for replacement. There are also ongoing monthly costs for our essential Vodafone pager rental. 

All cash donations are very much appreciated and you can be assured that every penny will be used to support the vital service we provide helping to save lives in the community. You might also feel that you have a talents or abilities that would help our cause in a different way – maybe you could help with fundraising, for example.
